I Write a lot of song lyrics

So I'm constantly writing song lyrics, and I'd love to get some feedback on the songs.

This is pretty self explanatory, but people kept asking me to write a song about them or for them. Some of these people I barely knew, and then some really are some of my best friends. I figured this would be a topic I'd like to explore, and this is what came out. I'm not too thrilled with it, but I think it's ok.

You may still mean a lot but
I find in you no muse
To write the song you deserve

To write something better

Writing songs isn't easy
They're typically sad
Writing is as hard as lead
They don't come from the top of my head
I need a reason to write
To change what's ahead
