ah...the infamous "Rules" section.
As stated, alt-trib's administrators and moderators are under the assumption that ALL members have read this section, BEFORE posting.
Failure to follow this "easy-to-do" checklist will result in anything from general flaming to permanent ban, depending on the infraction.
These rules are set up to protect alt-trib and its members from being harassed, bullied, made to feel uncomfortable, and even ROBBED.

Let's get this over with, and get to the fun...

1. Be polite (first and foremost) - This is the most important to me. Respect your fellow member. No flame wars, no personal attacks, no spam, etc...Show common courtesy. ESPECIALLY if someone is asking for a critique. Someone is pouring their heart out for the entire board to see and evaluate, try not to be a jerk. Now, that being said...
2. Be honest - this is less of a rule and more of a request. If someone does post there work on the site, and requests a critique, no need to sugarcoat...again be polite, but be honest. If you show us that you do not know how to separate the two, you will be banned.
3. Be honest (2) - If you post something, it is assumed that YOU are the owner (except in the case of Youtube videos and characters/elements of fan fiction). Do not post other people's work as your own. That is plagiarism and will not be tolerated. If caught, off to Banned Camp.
4. Do NOT post other members work on other sites. Copyright protection begins at the moment of creation, and DOES NOT require a submission to the copyright department to be effective. Violators will be banned post haste.

6. Do not contact the admins/mods requesting assistance with getting published. Don't call us...we'll call you.
7. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!...The future of this site will rely on WORD of MOUTH!...
